We grow our produce in small spaces! We have an acre farm and we want to see how much produce can be grown on 1 acre of land by using unconventional ways of growing. We are experimenting with potato towers, vertical cages for squash and melons, pallet gardens, container gardens, and gutter gardens just to mention a few. We are growing everything organically but are not certified. Some of our produce that we grow are cucuzza squash, oyster mushrooms, micro greens, 12 types of potatoes, 10 types of tomatoes, 10 types of peppers, eggplants, kale, Swiss chard.

We also produce a line of jellies and jams using produce that we have grown or within 50 miles of our place. Some of our most popular ones are Peach Habanero, Dandelion, Grape Peach and Apple Pear Walnut Conserve.

What makes us unique is that we want to see other growers and farmers that are low income succeed by growing more produce in a small area. We teach classes at 2 low income farmers markets/communities, Ivanhoe and Raytown. We also sell at both of these markets. Our goals is to see other growers/farmers up their production and bring in more income of their produce at the same time making a living for us also. This year we are expanding our growing areas and selling at 1 more market and 2 more bakery/coffee houses. We should have our sample gardens in for growers/farmers to check out and we will be teaching classes at the farm, community centers and farmers markets on "growing up instead of out".
